In the World War one war was always been related with PES (politic, economy and social), it can be no matter either the reason of war, the quenciquaces or the main factors will always be this three thing. Until of the World War two it change and become PEST which was politic, economy, politic and technology. Technology turn to become one of the main thing in war. Technology can be happen as the reason why sertuin war happen or the technology it self was used as the main thing or weapon in the war.
Technology can be relate to manything, but the main thing that i want to relate wif technology is the media. Media now play important role in daily life, it also play as the important role in war. For example ISAF And New Media, NATO’s International Security Force (ISAF), based in Kabul, Afghanistan recently, launched Twitter, Facebook and YouTube sites with the goal of better communicating. The new media is the opportunity for audiences to interact directly with ISAF, to share their opinions, while engaging in dialogue on many of the important issues currently facing Afghanistan. ISAF’s most important tool in combating insurgent misinformation and propaganda is its own information which is comprised of transparency not embraced by insurgent elements within Afghanistan.
In order to ensure ISAF’s continued relevance in the information realm, multiple technologies and new media applications are being explored, ISAF’s Multi-Purpose Public Affairs Team has utilized the U.S. Department of Defense-sponsored Digital Video & Imagery Distribution System, more popularly known as DVIDS, and Flickr, a photo sharing website, to share uploaded video and still imagery with journalists and the public
In order to become closer with their target audience and public they use their nontraditional way by launches their own Facebook and Twitter sites. Facebook, a social networking site, enables subscribers to get a fuller view of the situation in Afghanistan, while YouTube viewers will be able to see video features and updates with Afghan citizens. Twitter is a site designed to help people communicate and share information through the exchange of quick, short text messages that are no longer than 140 characters, which may be delivered via mobile phone or email.
As the media paradigm has shifted over the past two decades, to one in which bloggers have become as effective as established outlets, the Internet will increasingly occupy a more important role in the exchange of information, and ultimately, lead to a logical shift from monologue-based communication to participatory dialogue.
By using all the technology of the new media the war can become easier n we can reduce violent conflict that is engaged. Now people not only been colonile in term of physically but also mentally. It is easier to persuade people using the new media to adapt our idea or to think like we think which will be shown on their behavior.
This is the strength of the new media which propaganda can easily be spread to all over the world and to any type of viewers. World without a bondries is one of the propaganda in order to colonile our way of thinking by the western country.
